Job Summary
Deliver authentic care to patients under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist while ensuring a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. Manage patient care programs, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and inventory workflow, excluding final prescription verification. Lead with empathy, collaborate on team culture, and support colleagues in achieving better health outcomes. Complete all required training within state guidelines and obtain necessary licensure. Maintain regular attendance including nights and weekends, and perform physical tasks such as lifting, scanning, and bagging items.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
- Ability to pick, pinch, type or otherwise work primarily with fingers rather than whole hand or arm
- Ability to reach overhead; able to stretch or reach out with the body, arms, and/or legs to grasp items
- Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
- Ability to have precision control: able to adjust machines to exact positions
- Ability to stoop to a considerable degree and requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles to move items between low and high positions, including bending spine at the waist
- Ability to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, visual inspection involving small parts
- Ability to orally communicate information and instructions to colleagues and customers
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs; exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
- Ability to complete any additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager
- Ability to complete all required training and obtain required licensure (if applicable) within state guidelines
