Job Summary
Pharmacy Intern (3rd year) in CVS Health retail pharmacies. Under the direction of a licensed preceptor, complete a comprehensive training roadmap to apply didactic learning in real-world practice and prepare for a Pharmacist role. Assist with pharmacy workflow across production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drops-off to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, counsel patients, and deliver compassionate, patient-centered service. Responsibilities include counseling patients, handling telephonic prescriptions, maintaining SOP adherence, assisting with immunizations where allowable, participating in inventory and cycle counts, and supporting store leadership in delivering high-quality care. Travel to stores in the market may be required. Required qualifications include enrollment in an ACPE-accredited pharmacy program and active/required intern and/or technician licensure. Preferred qualifications include immunization certification readiness, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and willingness to work nights and weekends as part of regular attendance. Pay range: $18.00-$19.75 per hour for part-time roles; benefits eligible depending on hours. We value empathy, continuous learning, teamwork, and a patient-first mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
