Job Summary
3rd year Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health focused on applying didactic learning to real-world practice within Retail pharmacy teams. Responsibilities include supporting pharmacy operations across workflow (production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off), counseling patients when appropriate, taking telephonic prescriptions and clarifying changes with prescribers, maintaining drug inventory and cycle counts, and delivering high-quality patient care with empathy. The role emphasizes adherence to SOPs, patient safety, and a training roadmap with KLEs, under supervision of a licensed pharmacist, with opportunities to gain immunization experience and travel across stores in the market as needed. The position is part-time with potential scheduling including nights and weekends, and offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
