Job Summary
Pharmacy intern role supporting the pharmacy team under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist at CVS Health in West Warwick, RI. Responsibilities include patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, inventory and workflow management, and customer service to help deliver safe and effective care. The position emphasizes leadership with empathy, collaboration to achieve better patient outcomes, and participation in patient care programs. Required education/licensure includes enrollment in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy and current intern/technician licensure in process; 0-3 years of relevant experience; ability to attend nights and weekends; and ability to perform functions with dexterity, reach, mobility, and visual acuity. Preferred qualifications include immunization eligibility and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. This is a part-time role with benefits eligibility depending on hours and state guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
