Job Summary
Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health, under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, supports the pharmacy team in patient care activities, safety, and operational workflows. Responsibilities include contributing to patient care programs, supporting regulatory compliance, quality assurance, inventory and workflow management, and delivering compassionate customer service. Preferred qualifications include immunization eligibility and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools. The role emphasizes teamwork, empathy, and striving to improve access and quality of care for patients; must be able to attend to customers, assist with prescriptions, and perform tasks that require lifting up to 20 lbs and standing for extended periods. Required Qualifications
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
