Job Summary
3rd-year Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health positioned in a part-time role within a CVS retail pharmacy. You will support pharmacy teams by applying didactic learning to real-world practice, follow SOPs, assist with prescription fulfillment, and contribute to patient experiences through empathetic, compliant service. Responsibilities include following a comprehensive training roadmap with KLEs, participating in immunizations where permitted, counseling patients when appropriate, handling telephonic prescriptions, assisting with inventory and cycle counts, and supporting pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe, accurate, and timely medication dispensing. Flexible to shifts, travel within the market as needed, and compliance with federal/state/local regulations. Preferred qualifications include 1+ years in pharmacy/retail/customer service and the ability to pursue immunization certification; proficiency in Microsoft Suite and willingness to work across the market.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
