Job Summary
3rd-year Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health will apply didactic learning to real-world pharmacy operations, following a comprehensive training roadmap. Responsibilities include supporting pharmacy teams to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment; assisting with immunizations and patient counseling; following SOPs; handling inventory and cycle counts; taking telephonic prescriptions and clarifications; and potentially traveling to stores within the market to cover shifts. The role emphasizes empathy, patient service, joint collaboration with pharmacists and technicians, and maintaining compliance with federal/state/local laws. Regular attendance (including nights and weekends) and ongoing development in clinical/technical knowledge are expected. Preferred qualifications include immunization certification and the ability to work across stores as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
