Job Summary
3rd year Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health; participate in a comprehensive training roadmap designed to apply didactic learning to real-world pharmacy practice. Support pharmacy teams to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment across production, pick-up, drive-thru, and customer interactions; counsel patients, offer immunizations where allowed, and assist with pharmacy operations under licensed supervision. Expect flexible scheduling, travel to stores in the market as needed, adherence to SOPs, and ongoing coaching to build clinical and technical knowledge. Requires enrollment in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy and valid intern/technician licensure; role involves immunization training/licensure as applicable, and communicating effectively with patients and team while maintaining safety and privacy standards.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Attention and Focus: Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time
- Communication Skills: Use and understand verbal and written communication to interact with patients and colleagues
- Mathematical Reasoning: Ability to use math to solve a problem (e.g., calculating days supply)
