Job Summary
Pharmacy Intern position at CVS Health in Wellesley, MA. Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, the intern contributes to delivering safe and effective retail pharmacy care as part of the pharmacy team. Primary responsibilities include patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory and workflow management, and supporting the team in delivering accessible health care. The role emphasizes leading with empathy and compassion for patients, collaborating with colleagues, and growing through state-required training and licensure to support immunization activities when regulations allow.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
- Ability to attend regular shifts including nights and weekends
- Mobility and ability to stand for extended periods
- Lift/push/carry up to 20 lbs as needed
- Ability to complete licensure within state guidelines
