Job Summary
Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health in a part-time role, immersing in the Retail Pharmacy team under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities include supporting patient care programs, maintaining patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, and inventory/workflow management. The position requires enrollment in an ACPE-accredited pharmacy program, eligibility for intern/licensure, and availability to work nights/weekends. Required Qualifications
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Ability to have mobility and remain upright for extended periods
- Ability to lift, scan, and bag items; dexterity and fine motor skills
- Vision requirement to read and transcribe information
- Ability to work as part of a team and support a culture of care
- Experience with or ability to learn hospital/retail pharmacy workflow
- Immunization eligibility (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) (preferred)
