Job Summary
Pharmacy Intern (Part-time) at CVS Health. You will support pharmacy teams in a Retail setting, following SOPs, assisting with prescription fulfillment, immunizations where permitted, and patient interactions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities include operating within the pharmacy workflow (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off), counseling patients when appropriate, fielding medical questions, collecting medical history information, and helping maintain inventory and regulatory compliance. Qualifying candidates must be accepted into or enrolled in an ACPE-accredited pharmacy program and hold or be pursuing valid intern/technician licensure, with duties expanding as you gain tenure. The role emphasizes empathy, effective communication, teamwork, and flexibility for scheduling, including potential travel to stores in the market; immunization training/certification may be pursued to support vaccine-related services where allowed. This is a part-time position with a pay range of $18.00–$19.75 per hour and benefits eligibility depending on hours.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
- Customer Service and Team Orientation: actively look for ways to help people
- Communication Skills: verbal and written; active listening
- Attention and Focus; mathematical reasoning for dispensing and workflow
