Job Summary
Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, contributing to a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy environment. Key responsibilities include patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory and workflow management, and supporting patient care programs. The role emphasizes empathy, collaboration, and growth within a culture focused on improving health outcomes. Required qualifications include enrollment in or acceptance to an ACPE-accredited pharmacy program, 0-3 years of relevant experience, and licensure processes as applicable, along with strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to complete state-mandated training; availability for nights and weekends; and physical capability to perform typical pharmacy tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
