Job Summary
Pharmacy Intern role at CVS Health, a 3rd-year pharmacy intern operating under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, focusing on patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, inventory and workflow management, customer service, and participation in patient care programs. The position requires enrollment in an ACPE-accredited pharmacy program, regular attendance including nights/weekends, mobility and physical tasks (lifting, reaching, continuous standing), and completing state-mandated trainings. Preferred qualifications include immunization eligibility and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. The role is part-time with benefits described and pay range of $20.50-$24.25 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
- Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
- Lift, scan, and bag items
- Finger Dexterity: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers
- Reach overhead; extend arms to grasp items
- Stoop to move objects
- Visual Acuity: reading and computer use
- Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs
- Ability to work scheduled hours including nights/weekends
