Job Summary
Pharmacy Intern position at CVS Health (part-time) where a 3rd year pharmacy student works under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support patient safety, pharmacy operations, and quality care. Responsibilities include assisting with patient care programs, customer service, inventory and workflow management, regulatory compliance, and ongoing training; opportunities to contribute to immunization services once regulations are met; strong emphasis on empathy, collaboration, and delivering high-quality health care.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
- Ability to have regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
- Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods
- Lift, scan, and bag items; Finger Dexterity; Visual Acuity; Reach overhead; Stoopy with back flexibility; Ability to move objects up to 20 lbs
- Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs; exerting up to 20 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs frequently
