Job Summary
Pharmacy intern role under a licensed pharmacist in CVS Health, supporting the pharmacy team to deliver safe, high-quality care. Responsibilities include patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, inventory and workflow management, and assisting with patient care programs. Requires enrollment in an ACPE-accredited pharmacy program, and licensure processes as applicable. Must demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills, be able to attend nights and weekends, and be physically capable of tasks such as lifting up to 20 lbs; immunization eligibility is preferred. Part-time role with opportunities to learn and grow within the pharmacy team.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
