Job Summary
Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health, under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, contributes to a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy environment and delivers patient care by participating in patient safety initiatives, pharmacy professional practices, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and customer service. You will lead with empathy for patients and colleagues, grow through collaboration, and support the pharmacy team in inventory and workflow management to help manage prescriptions and access to care while meeting state guidelines and required trainings.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
- Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Able to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods and lift to move objects
- Visual acuity to perform tasks such as computer use and reading
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others and provide patient-focused care
