Job Summary
3rd year Pharmacy Intern responsibilities include supporting pharmacy teams to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and positive patient experiences across multiple workstation activities (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off). You’ll follow SOPs, learn through a comprehensive training roadmap with KLEs, counsel patients when appropriate under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, assist with immunizations where allowed by state regulations, handle telephonic prescriptions, participate in inventory activities, and be flexible to travel to different stores to meet business needs. Strong communication, math, and customer-service skills are essential; you will contribute to a high-performing, inclusive pharmacy team and gain increasing responsibilities as you develop clinically and technically.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
