Job Summary
Pharmacy Intern (part-time) at CVS Health in a retail pharmacy setting. The role supports pharmacy teams by following SOPs, performing prescription fulfillment across workflow stations (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off), delivering empathetic patient service, counseling when appropriate, handling telephonic prescriptions, assisting with immunizations and other services under supervision, and contributing to inventory activities and store operations. The position emphasizes safe and accurate dispensing, patient safety, and collaboration within a high-performing team; flexibility to travel across stores in the market may be required. Requires current enrollment in an ACPE-accredited pharmacy program and valid intern/technician licensure as required, with strong math, communication, and customer-service skills, and the ability to work nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
- Strong customer service and communication skills
