Job Summary
3rd year Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health in a part-time role within Retail locations. You’ll support pharmacy teams to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment, learn SOPs, assist with immunizations where allowed, counsel patients, handle telephonic prescriptions, participate in inventory activities, and contribute to a high-performing, inclusive team. Responsibilities include following pharmacy workflow procedures, providing empathetic patient care, maintaining accurate records, and expanding clinical and technical knowledge under a licensed pharmacist, with opportunities to travel to stores in the market as needed. Preferred candidates are enrolled in an ACPE-accredited program and pursuing intern/technician licensure, with flexibility for scheduling including nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
- Strong customer service and teamwork orientation
- Strong communication and mathematical reasoning abilities
- Ability to handle immunization processes where permitted by state regulations
- Willingness to travel to stores within the market as needed by the business
