Job Summary
3rd year Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health will support pharmacy teams across various store workflows, learn through a comprehensive training roadmap with KLEs, assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, immunizations where allowed, and provide empathetic patient care. Responsibilities include following SOPs, counseling patients when appropriate, handling telephonic prescriptions, participating in inventory activities, traveling to stores in the market as needed, and expanding clinical and technical knowledge under licensed supervision. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and collaboration within a high-performing team, with flexibility for scheduling and business needs, including potential shifts at multiple stores and travel in the market.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
