Job Summary
Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health (TX - The Woodlands). As a 3rd-year pharmacy intern under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment while delivering patient care. Key duties include supporting patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, inventory and workflow management, and exceptional customer service. You will lead with empathy to support patients, collaborate with team members, and contribute to programs that manage patient care. Education requirements specify acceptance into or active enrollment in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy, with licensure as an intern/technician in process as required. The role emphasizes strong communication, ability to learn and complete required trainings, and the capacity to work regular nights/weekends in a part-time schedule. Preferred qualifications include immunization eligibility and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. The position offers a competitive pay range for a part-time role and benefits as applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Ability to lift, stand, and perform duties in a retail pharmacy environment
