Job Summary
Deliver exceptional care to patients under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, focusing on patient safety, professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and customer service. Manage inventory, workflow, and patient care programs while excluding final prescription verification. Lead with empathy, collaborate on team culture, and complete all required training within state guidelines. Maintain regular attendance including nights and weekends, ensuring mobile readiness for lifting, scanning, and bagging items. Work as a third-year pharmacy intern contributing to CVS Health's mission of increasing access and lowering costs.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs; exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently
- Ability to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection involving small parts
- Ability to orally communicate information and instructions to colleagues and customers
