Job Summary
Pharmacy Intern (3rd year) at CVS Health under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities include patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management to support delivery of high-quality, affordable healthcare. The role emphasizes leading with empathy, collaborating with the pharmacy team, and contributing to programs that support patient care. Must be accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy; 0-3 years of relevant experience; licensure-in-process for intern/technician as required; ability to work nights and weekends; physical requirements include lifting and standing for extended periods. Preferred immunization eligibility and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Part-time position with benefits eligibility. Location: Cumberland, Rhode Island (US).
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
