Job Summary
As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment that delivers exceptional care to patients. Primary responsibilities include patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory and workflow management, and supporting the pharmacy team in delivering accessible healthcare services. You will lead with empathy and collaborate with colleagues to grow outcomes, align others around the purpose of delivering quality patient care, and participate in tasks required to obtain licensure within state guidelines. This position emphasizes strong communication, reliable attendance (including nights and weekends), and the ability to perform physical tasks associated with a retail pharmacy setting.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
- Ability to regular attend nights and weekends
- Ability to lift and mobility requirements as described (physical requirements)
