Job Summary
Pharmacy Intern (part-time) at CVS Health in Mount Holly, NJ. As a 3rd year pharmacy intern under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment, contributing to patient care through patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, inventory and workflow management, and customer service. The role emphasizes learning and growth within a culture focused on accessibility, cost reduction, and quality of care, with responsibilities including leading with empathy, collaborating with the team, and supporting immunization efforts when regulations are met. Requires enrollment in an ACPE-accredited pharmacy program, intern/technician licensure in process, and availability including nights/weekends. The position offers a part-time schedule with benefits eligibility and a pay range of $18.00-$19.75 per hour, with application windows and program details provided during the process.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
- Ability to Have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
- Lift, scan, and bag items
- Finger Dexterity: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers
- Reach overhead; able to stretch or reach out with the body, arms, and/or legs to grasp items
- Extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
- Stoop to a considerable degree and requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles to move items
- Visual Acuity: Close visual acuity to perform activities such as: transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, visual inspection involving small parts
- Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs; exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently
- Ability To: Have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Complete any additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager
- Complete all required training and obtain required licensure (if applicable) within state guidelines
- Immunization eligibility
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
