Job Summary
3rd year Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams in a retail setting. Responsibilities include following SOPs to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment across all pharmacy workstations (production, pick‐up, drive‐thru, drop‐off), delivering empathetic customer service, counseling patients when appropriate, handling telephonic prescriptions and clarifications with prescribers, contributing to a safe and inclusive patient experience, and assisting with immunizations and other services as permitted by state regulations. The role includes completing a comprehensive training roadmap focused on Key Learning Experiences (KLEs), gaining exposure to store, district, and regional operations, taking on increasing responsibility with experience, traveling to stores in the market as needed, and collaborating with pharmacists, technicians, and leaders to support clinical and technical knowledge growth. Preferred qualifications include 1+ year of related work experience and ability to obtain immunization certification; role requires flexibility for shifts, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
