Job Summary
Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health: 4th year internship within CVS Retail pharmacies. You’ll support pharmacy teams to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment, assist with immunizations and patient counseling, follow SOPs, help with inventory and POS/drive-thru operations, and learn store, district, and regional pharmacy practices under a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities include engaging with patients, resolving questions, taking telephonic prescriptions where allowed, maintaining patient privacy and safety, and contributing to a caring, inclusive culture. Requires enrollment in an ACPE-accredited pharmacy program and intern/licensure as required, with flexible scheduling including nights and weekends. Pay ranges between $20.50 and $23.75 per hour for this part-time role, with benefits eligibility per hours worked.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
- Customer Service and Team Orientation
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with patients and pharmacy team
