Job Summary
As a 3rd year pharmacy intern under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy environment while delivering exceptional patient care. You will support patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and customer service; participate in inventory and workflow management; and contribute to patient care programs. The role emphasizes empathy, collaboration, and continuous learning, with opportunities to develop skills in immunizations (as regulations permit), patient counseling, and healthcare operations. This is a part-time position offering competitive pay and benefits for eligible colleagues.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
- Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Ability to lift, scan, and bag items; manual dexterity and physical requirements as described in role
