Job Summary
Manage patient care programs and ensure a safe retail pharmacy environment under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Deliver exceptional care by facilitating patient safety, professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and customer service while handling inventory and workflow management excluding final prescription verification. Lead with empathy, collaborate on team culture, and complete all required training within state guidelines. Maintain regular attendance including nights and weekends, and perform physical tasks such as lifting, scanning, and bagging items.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs; exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently
- Ability to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection involving small parts
- Ability to orally communicate information and instructions to colleagues and customers
