Job Summary
3rd year Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health is responsible for supporting pharmacy operations across workstations (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off) under a licensed pharmacist, following SOPs, and delivering compassionate patient care. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice, complete a comprehensive training roadmap featuring Key Learning Experiences (KLEs), assist with immunizations where permitted, counsel patients, take telephonic prescriptions when allowed, maintain inventory and cycle counts, and contribute to a safe, inclusive culture. The role emphasizes empathy, effective communication, teamwork, and ongoing professional development, with scheduling flexibility and potential travel to stores in the market. Required qualifications include enrollment in an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy and licensure requirements; preferred qualifications include immunization certification readiness and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $19.75 per hour for a part-time role, with annualized equivalent compensation of $37,440 to $41,080 depending on hours and eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe

Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Ability to become immunization certified
- Ability to work in home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
