Job Summary
Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health (3rd year pharmacy student) under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, contributing to patient safety, quality of care, and pharmacy operations. Key responsibilities include working as part of the pharmacy team to deliver patient care programs, supporting regulatory compliance, quality assurance, inventory and workflow management, and customer service. Preferred immunization eligibility; ability to attend nights and weekends; ability to lift and perform physical tasks as described to support the retail pharmacy environment. Strong communication and presentation skills, along with completion of required trainings and licensure processes within state guidelines, are required. This is a part-time role with pay range $18.75-$42.00 per hour, and benefits are available based on hours worked and eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
