Job Summary
Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health in a part-time role within a CVS Retail pharmacy. You will support the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment while delivering caring service, participate in a comprehensive training roadmap with KLEs, assist with immunizations and patient counseling, follow SOPs, and help with inventory and pharmacy operations. Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, counseling patients when appropriate under supervision, handling telephonic prescriptions, maintaining patient safety and privacy, and contributing to a high-performing, collaborative team. Opportunities to expand clinical and technical knowledge and travel to stores in the market as needed. Requires enrollment in an ACPE-accredited pharmacy program and active licensure as an intern/technician where required; must maintain regular attendance and adapt to scheduling needs.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
- Customer Service and Team Orientation
- Strong Communication Skills
- Ability to use math for prescription calculations
