Job Summary
3rd year Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams across retail locations. You will follow a comprehensive training roadmap under a preceptor, gain hands-on experience in prescription fulfillment, SOP adherence, and patient interactions, and help deliver immunizations and other pharmacist-supported services. Responsibilities include assisting with daily pharmacy operations, counseling and fielding medical questions when appropriate, handling telephonic prescriptions under supervision, maintaining inventory, and contributing to a safe, inclusive patient-care environment. Flexibility to travel to stores in the market and adapt to scheduling needs is expected; completion of licensure requirements and immunization training is supported under state regulations. The role emphasizes empathy, teamwork, continuous learning, and delivering quality patient care while adhering to regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
