Pharmacy Informatics Coordinator

Job Summary
Manage the clinical and medication use policy dimensions of the pharmacy information system, integrated medical record, clinical documentation system, and inpatient and ambulatory prescriber order entry systems. Coordinate system implementation with an intimate understanding of changing scientific evidence, dynamic medication distribution, and maturing technology. Maintain current Indiana Pharmacist licensure or eligibility, hold BLS and ACLS certifications, and serve as a credentialed EPIC trainer. Requires three years as a clinical pharmacist and two years with pharmacy computer software. Full-time role at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy- PharmD
- Current Indiana Pharmacist License or Eligible for Indiana Pharmacist License
- BLS for Healthcare Providers
- ACLS certification (obtained within 6 months of hire)
- Credentialed trainer with EPIC (or willing to obtain within 6 months from hire)
- At least three (3) years as a Clinical Pharmacist or equivalent
- At least two (2) years of experience with current pharmacy computer software

Desired Qualifications
- Completion of an ASHP accredited residency preferred
- BCPS or other advanced certification is preferred
