Job Summary
Pharmacy Healthcare Advisor providing product information and advice to customers across all pharmacy ranges; maintain stock control and adherence to professional standards; deliver professional customer service and foster positive customer relationships; work as part of the pharmacy team, assisting in all areas of operation; handle cash/receipts securely; ensure cleanliness and health-and-safety compliance; participate in training/development; promote confidentiality of patient information; employ WWHAM questioning to recommend suitable OTC medicines in consultation with the Pharmacist; contribute to merchandising and inventory management as directed by the Managing Pharmacist.
Required Qualifications
- 1 years experience in Pharmacy/Retail/Hospitality is preferable
- Cashier experience an advantage
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to use discretion when addressing customer queries and to treat customer/patient information confidentially
- Good attention to detail
- Organised with a proven ability to multi-task successfully under pressure
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Basic IT skills are an advantage
