Pharmacy Fulfillment Technician

Job Summary
Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling appropriate prescriptions from inventory. Apply labels to medication packaging, scan and assemble into appropriate bins, and alert the pharmacist on duty of any medication that is not scanning properly. Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate supply, assist in maintaining inventory levels by removing expired or unused meds, and keep the workstation clean and orderly. Comply with local, state, and federal laws regarding the dispensing of prescription medications while consistently meeting established accuracy and productivity levels. Work collaboratively with supervisors and functional areas to keep workflows smooth, participate in training activities, and maintain a high level of attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements)
- Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements)
- Ability to work flexible hours
- 1+ years of related experience
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
- Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire about inaccuracies
- Ability to think ahead, plan and manage time efficiently
- Ability to analyze causes and solve problems at both a strategic and functional level
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with all team members
