Job Summary
Oversee the full scope of the pharmacy department, including clinical programs, operations, staffing, budget management, and regulatory compliance. Develop and refine pharmacy practice standards while ensuring alignment with federal, state, and accrediting body requirements. Recruit, hire, develop, and retain pharmacy staff, and hold accountability for ongoing policy and procedure review, revision, and implementation. Manage annual departmental budget and capital expenditure requests to drive strategic direction. Lead a senior leadership role shaping medication management practices within a full-service acute care hospital serving a diverse population in the greater Memphis region.
Required Qualifications
- Pharm.D. or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
- Active Tennessee Pharmacy License (or eligibility)
- Minimum 5 years of pharmacy experience
- Minimum 3 years of hospital pharmacy management experience
- Management experience
Desired Qualifications
- Pharmacy residency or fellowship training
- Master's Degree
