Pharmacy Delivery Driver

Job Summary
Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and learning their names. Deliver pharmacy customers' prescriptions to specified locations in a timely and professional manner while maintaining the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle inside and out. Enter and exit the vehicle multiple times per shift, navigate staircases and varying terrain, and facilitate vehicle maintenance by reporting issues promptly. Maintain confidentiality of private medical information and work with co-workers to ensure a pleasant environment. Assist in other store areas as needed and take on special projects assigned. Report to work when scheduled and on time while adhering to all Hy-Vee policies and dress standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older to drive a company vehicle
- Valid driver's license with no DOT restrictions
- Ability to frequently stand and walk while loading, transporting, and delivering pharmacy orders
- Ability to operate a delivery vehicle in accordance with applicable DOT standards
- Ability to perform repetitive standing, walking, reaching, and bending associated with order fulfillment, POS transactions, and cleaning/sanitation duties
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre employment drug screen
