Job Summary
Assist pharmacy staff in triaging incoming prescriptions, verifying patient details such as allergies and insurance information, and assessing workload to establish pick-up times. Deliver filled prescriptions to patients while obtaining signatures, manage cash register duties, and perform housekeeping tasks including replenishing dispensing supplies. Maintain confidentiality regarding all patient information and complete mandatory regulatory training programs. Follow standard procedures under direct pharmacist supervision while performing other assigned store clerk duties.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (or currently enrolled) or GED
- AS Degree or Higher Required
- Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician
- Must keep current with all State and Federal requirements as related to conditions of employment
- Drug test
- Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
- Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position
