Job Summary
Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service by greeting shoppers, answering phones, and assisting with product locations. Process cash transactions, take refill orders, and review prescriptions for pickup. Manage inventory by stocking received products, ordering supplies, reviewing invoices, and logging transactions. Maintain department cleanliness through trash removal, cleaning, and ensuring supplies are well-stocked. Coordinate nursing home medicine deliveries and compile mail-out orders. Administer vaccines as allowed by law and handle hazardous drugs in accordance with safety protocols. Work in a fast-paced environment with significant pressure while adhering to company guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High school or equivalent experience
- Over six months up to one year of similar or related experience
- Must have the ability to follow written, verbal or diagrammatic instructions
- Ability to do add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers
- Must be physically able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally
- Must be physically able to exert up to 10 pounds of force frequently
- Must be physically able to exert a negligible amount of force constantly
- Vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction
- Depth perception
- Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors)
- Field of vision
- Ability to climb

- Must acknowledge that exposure to hazardous drugs may cause acute and chronic effects
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre employment drug screen
