Pharmacy Clerk (Cashier)

Greet customers, assist in locating prescriptions, and process cash, credit cards, or other payments while accurately totaling purchases and making change. Facilitate end-of-day reports to ensure appropriate funds are in tills for the next day's business. Answer the telephone to provide general information and directions, and routinely telephone customers to remind them to pick up prescriptions. Assist in daily inventory activities as assigned and perform routine tasks not involving medication handling. This cashier role requires excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to multi-task amidst frequent interruptions in a healthcare setting.
