Job Summary
Pharmacy Business Analyst supports Medicare Advantage pharmacy benefits by analyzing utilization, costs, and outcomes; developing dashboards and reports; assisting formulary optimization; ensuring CMS/compliance adherence; negotiating and managing pharmacy network contracts; collaborating with clinical, marketing, and member services teams; and leading pharmacy-related projects to improve operational efficiency and member health outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Health Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmacy benefits management, healthcare analytics, or related field
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, or business intelligence software)
- Knowledge of pharmacy benefit structures, formulary management, and Medicare regulations
- Experience with Medicare Advantage plans is highly desirable
