Job Summary
Process medication orders by pulling drugs, matching NDCs to labels, and inspecting incoming shipments for accuracy. Assist technicians and support staff in inventory control, station replenishment, and facility cleanliness while maintaining quality assurances on all dispensings. Contact customers regarding outgoing express shipments and address verification to ensure proper delivery. Complete mandatory regulatory training programs including HIPPA and MethGuard courses, and assist in orienting new employees as needed. Maintain reasonable production levels and perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to work nights and weekends as required
- Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shifts
- Must work harmoniously and effectively with fellow employees, supervisors and others you are in contact with
- Must work within supervision guidelines and assume additional responsibilities
- Must be willing to work variable work schedules, assist others as requested and available, and be willing to perform all assigned work
- Must respond to new situations in a positive way, accept change, support new ideas, master new routines and grasp explanations, apply current knowledge in new environments and experiences
- Must enjoy the demands of the job and work with interest and enthusiasm
- Must provide appropriate customer service (for all customers, fellow employees and business partners), listen attentively to their needs and respond appropriately
- Must take care of equipment and employ good safety habits
- Must gain acceptance of ideas and accomplish goals through subordinates, peers and teams
- Successful completion of a pre-employment and/or random drug screening test

Desired Qualifications
- AS Degree or Higher in Business Administration or related field
- hospital or retail pharmacy experience
