Job Summary
Pharmacy Associate across Acute Care, Outpatient, Cancer Care, and Psych teams working under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities include accurate medication order filling, compounding, preparing medications (IV admixtures, chemotherapy, total parenteral nutrition, unit-dose/prepackaged medications, investigational drugs), operating computer systems to input orders and retrieve patient information, providing courteous customer-focused service, directing potential issues to the pharmacist or supervisor, maintaining inventory and records per state/federal law, ensuring timely distribution of medications to nursing units and hospital departments, participating in organizational/departmental performance-improvement initiatives, and engaging in professional development and competency validation. May involve quality management program activities and QA-related projects as applicable. Qualifications emphasize High School graduation, Pharmacy Technician and Pharmacy Intern registrations, and licensure timelines for Kansas/Missouri; program is designed for individuals accepted into a Pharmacy Doctorate program starting Fall 2026.

- Must obtain Kansas and/or Missouri licensure as a registered pharmacy intern within 60 days of starting pharmacy school based on primary practice site
