Job Summary
Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in providing high-quality patient care by greeting customers, answering calls, and entering, labeling, and packaging prescriptions under supervision. Accurately count, measure, and package medications per protocol while receiving, stocking, and rotating supply shipments to support inventory audits. Maintain a clean pharmacy environment, safely dispose of hazardous waste, and perform clerical tasks including filing, faxing, scanning, and assisting with insurance claims. This two-month part-time role at DrugSmart Pharmacy @Brock University in St. Catharines operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Candidates must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and Kroll pharmacy software. Completion of a pharmacy assistant program is preferred, with on-the-job training provided.
