Job Summary
Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in providing high-quality patient care by greeting customers, answering calls, and entering, labelling, and packaging prescriptions under supervision. Accurately count, measure, and package medications, receive and stock shipments, monitor inventory levels, and rotate stock. Maintain a clean pharmacy area, safely dispose of expired medications and hazardous waste, and perform clerical tasks including filing, faxing, scanning, and assisting with insurance claims and prescription transfers. This part-time role requires 20 hours per week with availability for flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, across Monday through Sunday operations. Proficiency with Kroll and a preliminary understanding of the pharmacy business are required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant in a retail pharmacy with a preliminary understanding of the pharmacy business
- Proficiency with Kroll
