Job Summary
Greet patients, confirm prescription accuracy, and dispense medications while managing third-party adjudication and data entry. Maintain pharmacy stock via inventory systems and handle general OTC enquiries, referring complex cases to pharmacists as needed. Coordinate customer prescription pickups and ensure all pertinent information is verified prior to filling orders. This part-time role requires flexibility for days, evenings, nights, and weekends, with a starting hourly range of $16.35 to $22.58. Candidates must be 18 or older and complete a criminal background check.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is an asset
- Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Proficient computer/data/entry skills
- Flexibility to work a variety of hours which may include days, evenings, night shifts and weekends
- Candidates who are 18 years or older are required to complete a criminal background check
