Job Summary
Greet patients and confirm prescription accuracy before dispensing medications, while performing data entry for patient care information and third-party adjudication. Manage inventory control systems to maintain pharmacy stock and handle customer inquiries regarding over-the-counter products, referring complex cases to pharmacists. Process prescription pickups and ensure all transactions meet safety standards. This part-time role requires flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Candidates must be 18 years or older and complete a criminal background check. Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant
- Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Proficient computer/data/entry skills
- Flexibility to work a variety of hours which may include days, evenings, night shifts and weekends
- Candidates who are 18 years or older
