Job Summary
Greet patients and confirm prescription accuracy before dispensing medications. Perform data entry for patient care information and handle third-party adjudications when necessary. Maintain pharmacy stock through inventory control systems and manage general OTC enquiries, referring complex cases to pharmacists. Process customer prescription pickups and ensure all pertinent details are recorded accurately. This part-time role supports the pharmacy team at a No Frills location, contributing to a collaborative retail environment focused on community impact and customer service excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is an asset
- Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Proficient computer/data/entry skills
- Flexibility to work a variety of hours which may include days, evenings, night shifts and weekends
- Candidates who are 18 years or older are required to complete a criminal background check
