Pharmacy Assistant

Pharmacy Assistant needed at Neighbourly Pharmacy in Indian Head, SK (part-time; 16–24 hours/week). Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in patient-focused care; greet customers; assist with entry, labeling, and packaging of prescriptions under supervision; count and package medications; receive and stock shipments, monitor inventory, rotate stock, and help with audits; maintain a clean, compliant pharmacy area and dispose of expired medications/hazardous waste; perform clerical tasks (filing, faxing, scanning) and assist with insurance claims and prescription transfers; contribute to daily pharmacy operations and other duties as assigned. Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays preferred. Qualification assets include completion of a pharmacy assistant program and prior pharmacy experience; strong communication, organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Kroll pharmacy software; ability to stand for long periods and lift boxes as needed.
